Ballyhoura Food Hubs is a local community-led organization and online portal showcasing food production spaces within the Ballyhoura region, from community kitchens to food units, and food innovation centres to demonstration kitchens.
My client, Ballyhoura Development CLG, approached me in early 2022 with the concept of having a website that served as a 'hub' for all food units, community kitchens and spaces in the area. The project aims to continually add spaces and opportunities for food entrepreneurs and showcase the wide variety of food producers that currently operate within the region.
When designing the brand identity, logo and website design for Ballyhoura Food Hubs., the brief was to combine a professional, collaborative and fresh look that would appeal to entrepreneurs and business owners, while also remaining welcoming to the general public.
"There is an array of community centres within the Ballyhoura Region with HSE-approved kitchen spaces. These afford individuals involved in home produce for sale an opportunity to scale up by moving into a larger kitchen space. Options available currently are listed below.
